■ THAME United edged past Kempston Rovers in the Southern League Central Division to leave the Walnut Boys eight points adrift of safety.
In a tight affair between the two sides occupying the bottom two places in the Central Division, there was certainly plenty of pressure involved in a tense affair.
However, that didn’t stop Ryan Knight from making an impact and becoming the home hero of the afternoon, with his goal enough to seal all three points.
