■ BRENTWOOD edged a five-goal thriller to keep them in the promotion race.
Gorleston took the lead in the 12th minute when Joe Jefford followed up a save.
Gorleston’s Jake Jessup denied Shad Ngandu before the break. But, from the resulting corner, Brentwood equalised when the ball found Mekhi McKenzie at the back post for a tap in.
Gorleston regained the lead eight minutes into the second half when Ryan Curtis scored. Ten minutes later Brentwood equalised when Ngandu converted a penalty.
