A LATE goal from Ethan Mann ensured Mickleover claimed all the points in a very close game.
The centre-back was on hand to knock in Brendon Daniels’ free-kick from close range in the third minute of added time.
Sporting goalkeeper Ollie Taylor had to be alert to keep out an Andrew Dales effort in the fourth minute, while Keanu Cooper had a shot blocked soon after that looked destined for the net at the other end.
Taylor had to be alert once more in the 15th minute, as he kept out an Oliver Greaves shot from an acute angle.
