■ A LAST-GASP head edequaliser by Witham debutant Ryan Dear gave his side a deserved point in wet conditions at the Simarco Stadium.
Ipswich had the better of the early play, but Freddie King put Witham ahead in the 20th minute.
And King nearly scored again in the 57th minute before Rash Ajani-Salau equalised for the visitors following a defensive error.
The goal energised Ipswich who looked dangerous before taking a late lead though Matt Blake in the 88th minute.
