Struggling Bradford Park Avenue face Ashton United at the Horsfall Stadium on Saturday looking to build on a win in their last league outing.

After securing all three points with a 2-0 victory over Workington on February 10, Bradford Park Avenue sit 20th in the Northern Premier League.

They travel to play an Ashton side 11th in the standings, who were held in their last match, 1-1 against Guiseley.

With 34 goals in 30 games so far this season, Bradford Park Avenue are scoring at below the league average rate with 1.1 goals per game. And they are conceding more than average, letting in 62 goals at a rate of 2.1 per game.

Ashton, meanwhile, are average scorers, with 1.7 goals per game. They have also conceded 1.7 goals per game.

The hosts are in disappointing form in the Northern Premier League, with two wins and four losses from their last six games.

With a win and four draws over that period, United’s form is slightly better – they have taken seven points from 18, compared to Bradford Park Avenue’s six.
