■ NEITHER Coventry Sphinx nor Rugby Town could afford to lose this Midlands clash and shared the points thanks to a goal either side of half-time.
Sphinx took the lead in the 33rd minute when Matty Shipman’s cross from the right was met by a stooping Tyler Haddow, who headed in his first Sphinx goal.
Jamie Melbourne got the visitors level three minutes into the second half. His deep cross from the left caught the wind and floated into the far corner after dipping over the head of goalkeeper Keelan Fallows.
