Match Preview: Oxford City v Eastleigh (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Oxford City and Eastleigh both come into Tuesday’s late kick-off at the RAW Charging Stadium in poor form, having picked up four and two points respectively in their last six games.

Oxford have won one and drawn one of the last six, while the Spitfires have taken two draws and four losses.

Oxford are bottom of the table after 34 games, of which they have won seven and drawn seven, earning 28 points.

Eastleigh are eight places ahead of City in 16th, with 10 wins and nine draws putting them on 39 points.

With 45 goals in 34 games so far this season, the hosts are scoring at below the league average rate with 1.3 goals per game. And they are conceding more than average, letting in 68 goals at a rate of 2.0 per game.

The Spitfires, meanwhile, are above average scorers, with 1.6 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.5. They have conceded 2.0 goals per game.

Oxford’s last match was on Saturday, a 0-0 draw against Southend United.

Eastleigh lost 3-0 against Ebbsfleet United last time out, also on Saturday.
