WORKINGTON sealed their first win of 2024 but, typically, they made it difficult for themselves through missed chances.
Dav Symington put the Reds in front on 10 minutes, although his shot took a deflection to deceive veteran keeper Saul Deeney.
Workington went two ahead on 36 minutes, again from a deflected shot - this time Sam Smith claimed the glory.
