DESPITE being reduced to ten men on the cusp of half-time, Bromsgrove Sporting dug in to inflict another defeat on beleaguered Hitchin who have not tasted home victory since October.
It was the visitors who began as the more incisive team, looking sharp up front, with the pace of Miro Pais.
By way of contrast, Hitchin were ponderous and deliberate,managing just one fine effort from Jack Snelus that Oliver Taylor held well.
But just before half time Pais received a second caution and was dismissed for a harsh challenge on Stephen Gleeson...
