Match Preview: Oldham Athletic v Bromley (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Bromley travel to Oldham Athletic on late Tuesday in the National League.

The visitors come into the game on the back of a win in their last match, having beaten FC Halifax Town 2-0 at home, with goals from Corey Milton Whitely.

The Latics, meanwhile, drew their last match, 1-1 against Southend United, with their goal scored by Nathan John Sheron.

Bromley are second in the table after 36 games, of which they have won 18 and drawn 11, earning 65 points.

Oldham are four places behind the Ravens in sixth, with 15 wins and 12 draws putting them on 57 points.

With 61 goals in 36 games so far this season, the away team are scoring more than average in the league with 1.7 goals per game. And they are conceding fewer than average, letting in 42 goals at a rate of 1.2 per game.

Athletic, meanwhile, are average scorers, with 1.5 goals per game. They have conceded 1.3 goals per game.

The Latics are in reasonable form in the National League, with three wins and two draws from their last six games.

With two wins and a draw over that period, Bromley’s form is worse – they have taken seven points from 18, compared to the hosts’ 11.

In the last three years, Oldham and Bromley have played each other on three occasions. Bromley won two of them and they drew once.

Their last meeting was on September 16, when Bromley won 3-0 at home.
