England C squad for Wales C clash revealed

Cymru C

ENGLAND C boss Paul Fairclough has unveiled his 16-man squad to take on Cymru C this month.

Non-League’s Three Lions head to Llanelli Town’s Stebonheath Park on Tuesday, March 19 for the annual fixture.

With Fairclough able to select an open-age group, Chesterfield captain Jamie Grimes has been picked for the first time in his career, as has Eastleigh goal machine Paul McCallum.

Worthing hot-shot Ollie Pearce has hit 33 goals in the National League South this season and receives his first ever international call.

Chester keeper Wyll Stanway is the other representative from Step 2 and is selected alongside Bromley stopper Grant Smith, who last played in 2018.

There’s also a return for Southend United defender Gus Scott-Morriss, who excelled in the 1-0 win over Mark Jones’ Wales at Altrincham 12 months ago.

This will be the fifth instalment of the annual fixture with England victorious twice and Wales once as well as a 2-2 draw so far.
