PROMOTION-CHASING Southall suffered a setback when they succumbed to a single-goal defeat against ten-man Ascot.
The visitors started the stronger team and scored the only goal of the match after 36 minutes when Oliver Harris fired in with a powerful shot from the edge of the area.
The second half was an even affair until Ascot forward Taylor Morgan received a red card and gave the home side belief they could get back into it.
