LEATHERHEAD edged a tight contest against Met Police to maintain pressure on the play-off places.
The hosts opened the scoring in the fourth minute. Ibrahim Olutade beat the visitors’ offside trap to calmly stroke the ball past goalkeeper Liam Beach.
Blues equalised after 28 minutes. Benjamin Mendoza’s delightful 25-yard freekick flew into a top corner of the net, giving goalkeeper Amadou Tangara no chance.
