A SUPERB finish from Belper defender Sidik Atcha rescued a point for the Nailers who were on the verge of a home defeat.
The hosts made a positive start and took a well-deserved lead when Atcha scored his a slide rule shot into the far corner after Ashington failed to clear their lines after 16 minutes.
The visitors improved and Cameron Gascoigne fired home from 16 yards on the half-hour mark.
Ashington went ahead after 58 minutes when Wilson Kneeshaw ran 40 yards to score past Dan Moore.
