A SOLID first half from Biggleswade proved too much for Leighton Town as two goals sank the home team’s spirits.
Where Leighton were looking to advance on the teams around the playoffs, Biggleswade halted those aspirations for another week. It took just 16 minutes for the visitors to snatch the lead. Adam Wedd latching on to a sweet pull-back across the box, faking out two defenders and firing into the bottom right of the net.
