CHERTSEY moved one step closer to the league title with a convincing win at Southall.
They took the lead after 33 minutes from a free-kick scored by Conor Lee.
Chertsey held this most slender of leads right up until the final ten minutes of the match.
Despite having plenty of possession, the home side failed to capitalise and conceded after 80 minutes to a goal from Oliver McCoy to make it 2-0.
Southall kept pushing forward, but lost Kevin Diomonde to two yellow cards and conceded a third goal through Wilfred Ompero...
