BLUES MAKE THEIR MOVE IN THRILLER

BRENTWOOD Town moved up to third in the league as they defeated Maldon & Tiptree by the odd goal in five.
The hosts took the lead after just ten minutes when an error from Alife Mawson allowed Mekki McKenzie to find the net.
However, the Jammers pulled level seven minutes later as George Smith turned in the area before slotting the ball beyond the dive of Melvin Minter.
An entertaining first 20 minutes concluded when Maldon’s Lewis Jaggs was shown a straight red for pulling back McKenzie.
