A TALE of two penalties decided an evenly contested encounter.
The opening 15 minutes created little but the visitors then had a couple of shots wide followed by a strike by Rio Deall for AFC.
Welwyn had another shot wide before the hosts were awarded a penalty for a foul in the area after 35 minutes and Arnold Matshazi converted with ease.
Two minutes later Welwyn had a penalty of their own for handball, but Seb Stacey dived excellently to his left to save Dernell Wynter’s effort.
