Sholing gave a debut to new goalkeeper Bert White following Ryan Gosney’s departure earlier in the week to Salisbury. The hosts started the brighter and were nearly rewarded when Lee Wort rounded Adam Parkes, but saw his effort cleared for a corner. Keeper Parkes was hav ing a nervy start to the game and dropped the ball to Dan Mason, but the striker was unable to capitalise.
