A SCRAPPY and even contest was decided by a late winner from Nathan Barry for Newcastle Town.
Most of the first half was a non-event, as an even midfield battle saw both teams cancelling each other out.
1874 keeper Matthew Wonnacott was alert to save well early in the second half, denying the visitors on two occasions as they broke through on goal.
Anisio Jesus had a good chance to snatch the lead for 1874 but his left-foot snapshot was saved.
The winner came as Wonnacott produced a good save only for the rebound to find its way to Barry who side-foot...
