REED ON TOP FOR TOWN IN THRILLER

LOWESTOFT Town opened up a four-point lead at the top of the Isthmian North Division after edging Maldon and Tiptree in a five-goal thriller.
Lowestoft found themselves behind after just four minutes when Harry Phillips’ strike deflected off Luke Holt and into his own net.
Maldon lost the lead in the 11th minute when Jake Reed bagged his 27th league goal of the season to level the scores.
Reed’s 28th of the season came seven minutes before half-time, giving his side the lead at half-time.
