BOWERS and Pitsea kept their feint title hopes alive as they eked out a narrow victory over New Salamis at The Len Stadium.
Matthew Price had an early goal disallowed for offside before Joe Waight gave New Salamis a shock lead after Lewis Chambers gifted away possession. But Bowers fought back and lead again by half-time, TQ Addy claiming the final touch on Benas Vaivadas’ cross before Price got his 14th of the season by turning home Ben Williamson’s cutback.
