WESTON-SUPER-MARE were defeated by Aveley at the Optima Stadium, as the visitors to Somerset continued their play-off push.
Sam Avery and Reuben Reid went close early for Weston, with a header from Avery not far wide before Jonathan North made a good save to deny Reid.
The visitors took the lead when the corner found Aveley skipper Harry Gibbs at the back post, his downward header beating Harris and finding the corner of the net.
