CARLTON Town leapfrogged Newton Aycliffe to go into fifth place in the NPL East table with a comprehensive win yesterday.
The visitors were dominant from the off. Niall Hylton finished at a difficult angle in a crowded box in the fifth minute.
Things got better when Niall Davie made it two in the 32nd minute when he too found the net in a crowded box as the first half drew to a close with the visitors in the acendancy.
In the second half Nathan Watson sealed the Carlton win when he scored with a low shot.
