NEEDHAM Market’s big day as they were crowned as champions of the division was dampened slightly by a 2-0 home defeat to Mickleover.
It was Ben Sault who gave the visitors an early lead, chipping the onrushing Marcus Garnham on 13 minutes.
In truth, the visitors were not involved in much goalmouth action between their two strikes, though Needham saw a dangerous low freekick into the danger area cleared away, before Luke Ingram fired a shot on the half-volley just wide on 21 minutes.
