WINTERTON Rangers ran out winners on Dunston’s return to the UTS Stadium. The hosts opened the scoring in the 37th minute when Luke Carr continued his fine form in front of goal. Dale Pearson received the ball down the left and played a low cross into the box for Carr who fired home.
Winterton were the only team who looked like scoring in the second half, and they found their equaliser when Scott Matthews went one-on-one with Aaron Steavens and slotted the ball into the back of the net.
