CANVEY Island and Hastings United could not be separated as both sides failed to break the deadlock in yesterday’s season finale at the Moviestarr Stadium.
A match of very few goalscoring opportunities began with a scare for the home side within the first ten minutes when a header from a leftwing corner hit the post and then John Ufuah had a shot deflected wide after a good run into the penalty area.
