Town blown away by whistle

CHATHAM clinched runners-up spot in a final-day showdown with third-placed Enfield, with both sides now awaiting the play-offs.
The hosts, however, will feel hard done by after a stray whistle in the away end resulted in the Chats’ second equaliser, without which the final placings could have been reversed.
Chatham, going for a third straight promotion, had far by the better of the first half, Town having left their two big hitters, Marcus Wyllie and Sam Youngs, on the bench with Wednesday in mind.
