WITH only four points from their first 15 matches, securing survival on the last game of the season very much represents a great escape for Swindon Supermarine. Needing to win, the pressure was on the hosts and they started a little tentatively.
In the early exchanges, the visitors’ Jamie Barron went through on a oneon-one, but Fiachra Pagel made an excellent save.
Marine took the lead after 36 minutes when Ryan Campbell advanced into the Citizens’ penalty area and hit a fierce shot last the keeper.
