Jermaine McGlashan admits having Stormzy in the dressing-room “blew his team talks out of the water” after the rap star helped inspire AFC Croydon Athletic to promotion with a cameo appearance.
The rap superstar co-owns the south London club with former Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha and chairman Danny Young and surprised fans at Knaphill by tagging along as his club won the Combined Counties League Premier Division South play-off final 2-1 on Tuesday.
