Billy Rowley appointed new Walton & Hersham manager

Billy Rowley has signed a two-year contract to become new manager of Walton & Hersham.

The Pitching In Southern Premier South side have appointed from within with Rowley previously Head Coach under Scott Harris, part of the setup which oversaw three promotions into Step 3.

Rowley stepped in as caretaker manager for the final month of last season following Harris’ sacking. Darren Simpson will become assistant manager, promoted from his previous coaching position.

The newly appointed manager told the official Walton & Hersham website:

“I’m delighted to have been given the opportunity to take the helm at Walton & Hersham, and to carry on the momentum here.

“Having been here for four years already, I feel an immensely strong connection to the club, its supporters, and the wider community, and can’t wait to get to work in my new role.”
