DIDCOT Town manager Jamie Heapy has heaped praise on departing utility man Ben Putland.
Putland made 79 appearances during his time with the Railwaymen, but work commitments mean he is moving away from the area.
Boss Heapy, preparing his side for life in Southern League Division One South following relegation last term, said: “I’m going to miss Ben. A big player for me and an absolute gent.
“Ben was immense in the play-off final two seasons back and he always gave everything for the team. I would like to wish him all the best for the future.”
