RAMSGATE’S plans for the new season are in turmoil – after boss Tony Russell departed after just 25 days in charge.
The Isthmian South East club announced the former Lewes manager’s exit in a brief statement on Friday. The Rams also cancelled their pre-season friendly against Kennington – which had been due to be played on Friday night – at the same time.
A club statement, which invited applications for the now-vacant post, said: “Tony Russell and his management team have left Ramsgate Football Club with immediate effect.”
