THERE was agony and ecstasy for Welsh clubs in Europe this week with the JD Cymru Premier champions The New Saints marching on in the Uefa Champions League qualifying rounds and new boys Caernarfon Town making the next round in the Conference League.
TNS completed the job in Montenegro with a 4-1 aggregate victory over FK Decic to reach the second qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 2019 – where Hungarian champions Ferencváros now await them in Budapest on Tuesday night.
