IT WAS a tale of two penalties at Bridge Avenue as Hornchurch and Braintree couldn’t be separated in an entertaining tie.
The hosts were ahead on the half hour – Darren McQueen found himself through on goal but when he advanced into the box, he was met by the onrushing Iron keeper who mistimed his challenge and the referee pointed to the spot.
