ANSTEY AIM TO GET THE JOB DONE

IN their first ever foray at Step 4, Anstey Nomads lost just twice in the league last term, accumulating 88 points and scoring 96 goals.
The Leicestershire side were denied promotion having been pipped to the title by Spalding United and then lost at home to Harborough Town in the play-off final.
In fairness, Harborough would have won the league outright but for a six-point deduction for fielding an ineligible player but it was still harsh on the Nomads, who finished 18 points clear of Hinckley LRFC in fourth.
