THREE first-half goals ensured handed National League new boys Sutton United victory at Welling United.
Although the outcome was fair, the scoreline was harsh on the Wings who had chances of their own.
It took the visitors just six minutes to go ahead when a fine strike by Dillon De Silva from well outside the penalty area gave Welling goalkeeper Rhys Lovett no chance. Will Davies and Lewis Simper then had half chances for Sutton before Lovett tipped over a header by Nana Boateng.
