Tigers undone by Edwards

THE points were shared on the opening day after a first half goal from Jack Redshaw for Hyde was cancelled out by Dylan Edwards in the second half for Mickleover.
Mickleover keeper Yusuf Mersin was called into action twice in the 11th minute, first to deny Redshaw and then to keep out a volley from Ayo Quadri that was destined for the top corner.
Redshaw put Hyde ahead in the 21st minute. He had a shot blocked on the edge of the box, but it fell back into his path and he volleyed into the bottom corner.
