Ten-man Matlock hold firm for draw

MATLOCK TOWN 0
PRESCOT CABLES marked their return to the division after 15 years away with a point at home to a spirited Matlock Town side who had to play most of the game with ten men.
Cables, promoted last season, started quickly and put Matlock under pressure early on with a couple of dangerous crosses flying dangerously across the Matlock goal.
Matlock struggled to gain much possession but were still threatening themselves from counter attacks as Cables kept piling the pressure on.
