LANCASTER profited from stoppage time madness to beat nine-man Basford.
Lancaster struggled to cope with Basford’s direct play and were given a warning after five minutes when Kane Richards broke through on goal but hesitated and James McClenaghan was able to claim the ball.
Basford took the lead after 17 minutes when Ash Chambers rose unchallenged to head home a corner.
