GEORGE NIKAJ bagged an opening day hat-trick as Dover returned to the Isthmian Premier with a bang by putting eight goals past Potters Bar.
Dover dropped back into Step 3 last season after struggling in the National League South.
Bar more than matched the visitors for the first half an hour with Ore Bello and Samrai Gebrai causing problems for the visitors.
The dangerous Nikaj opened the scoring in the 32nd minute against the run of play with a great header. And once the floodgates opened, they didn’t close again.
