BROMSGROVE cruised to an opening day victory dominating throughout.
They began by attacking in determined style, forcing Hitchin to defend and somewhat untidily at times.
Two successive corners for the visitors saw the second bring a neatly headed goal at the near post, netted well by Shay Palmer, for a deserved lead on 17 minutes.
