WIMBORNE made a winning return to the Southern Premier in a game that always looked likely to be decided by the odd goal.
The opening 20 minutes was physical and feisty as the teams tested each other – and the referee. However, neither of the experienced keepers, Ross Flitney for Wimborne and Sam Beasant for Hanwell, were tested in the first half.
