After coming from behind, Ashford thought they had done enough to bag all three only to be outdone.
Erith went ahead after 18 minutes through Ollie Milton.
Harry Taylor doubled the hosts’ lead with a brilliant effort struck well on the turn. Ashford started to apply pressure and were rewarded in the 80th minute when Noah Carney made it 2-1.
