WYTHENSHAWE claimed their first-ever victory in the NPL West with a narrow victory over Nantwich Town.
The Ammies started strong and stayed that way throughout the first half. James Simms fired over early on after Nantwich gave the ball away high up.
Their positive play was rewarded after 18 minutes when Callum Laird followed in his first effort that was saved by Ben Garratt to roll the ball into an empty net.
