■ ASHFORD UNITED and Margate played out a draw in an entertaining game at The Homelands.
Margate took the lead after 18 minutes with a brilliant solo goal by Harvey Brand who ran through the Ashford defence and scored.
Ashford equalised just before half-time when good work by Gary Lockyer put Max Walsh through who made no mistake.
Margate could have doubled their lead early in the second half. Jamie Dunne was adjudged to have fouled an opponent in the penalty area. Ben Greenhalgh’s penalty was brilliantly saved by Mitchell Beaney.
