GATESHEAD scored early in each half to strengthen their position at the top of the table after they stretched their unbeaten start to the season to seven games.
A tremendous top-three clash on Tyneside saw the Heed maintain their recent impressive string of results against Barnet, who will wonder how they failed to score at the International Stadium.
