ASCOT United cruised to a fifth-consecutive victory against sorry Met Police on Saturday.
The visitors’ Duarte Murray-Watkins summed up his side’s afternoon with a glaring miss early on, after which Ascot got a foothold and assumed total control. Liam Tack’s glancing header six minutes before the interval set the Yellamen on their way, before Anas Igozouln’s exquisite effort – another glancing header from Taylor Morgan’s cross – doubled the lead just before the hour mark.
