Saints’ Banton goes from a hero to zero

ZANE BANTON went from being a hero to a zero for St Albans as he saw red shortly after cancelling out Ben Seymour’s opening goal for Torquay United.
United threatened on ten minutes when Sam Dreyer flicked a cross from Matt Carson into the path of Seymour, who couldn’t get a shot away.
The Saints came closest to breaking the deadlock in the 37th minute when Banton rounded onrushing United keeper James Hamon and attempted a shot from a tight angle, which Dreyer blocked on the line before Hamon gathered.
