■ THE GREEN LIONS’ secured their first win of the season at Horndean
Sam Murray headed home from close range there minutes in to hand Guernsey an early lead after a strong start. Horndean drew level on the half hour mark, as a nice switch of play from Dyer found Blankson on the right, who controlled the ball well before burying home into the bottom left to square the scoreline.
The visitors were back in front in first half stoppage time though, as Ross Allen’s effort deflected in.
